ABB’s Distribution Solutions Division in Mebane, NC is seeking an Electrical Tester to perform pre-testing, FAT support, and troubleshooting for new products. You will ensure quality, maintain records, and support process improvements in a safety-conscious environment.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in electrical/wiring environments or 1+ year plus coursework, plus strong data analysis and customer-relations skills. Onsite role with robust regulatory and quality system exposure.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in electrical/wiring environment or 1+ year with electrical coursework.
• Reading and understanding electrical drawings.
• Data analysis & reporting experience.
• Experience with customer relationships.
• Experience performing planned maintenance of electrical equipment.
• Basic computer knowledge and skills.
• Legal authorization to work in the US.
• Knowledge and use of tools: tape measure, calipers, hand tools, and electrical current/voltage measurement tools.

Responsabilités

• Execute work per workflows and ABB processes, report non-compliance.
• Perform pre-testing activities for newly developed products to ensure quality.
• Assist FAT checks and validate manufacturing processes.
• Inspect, troubleshoot, and determine root causes with stakeholders.
• Maintain accurate testing records and documentation for regulatory & quality systems.
• Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and process enhancements.
