Job summary

Vertiv in Anderson, SC seeks an MV SWGR NPDI Project Manager to lead product lifecycle activities for the Switchgear product line in the Americas. You will manage the NPDI framework, coordinate with cross-functional teams, and drive the development from idea to market while coordinating phase-outs and post-launch activities.

You will work with Marketing, Sales, Pricing and Finance to ensure financial and market success, report to the global director of product management, and ensure data

Qualifications

• B.S. in Engineering or equivalent experience in product engineering, manufacturing or marketing.
• MBA beneficial but not required.
• Experience with NPDI/PLM and cross-functional teams to identify and execute actions.
• Strong Excel and Project skills; Smartsheet/Power BI helpful.
• Ability to interface with internal stakeholders at executive and technical levels.

Responsibilities

• Manage the NPDI process for product development and phase out.
• Collaborate with MV SWGR Product Manager to develop requirements.
• Develop feature specifications with stakeholders including cost and schedule.
• Assist Marketing Communications to create launch literature.
• Manage prototype samples with operations to meet launch timelines.
• Coordinate with sales, pricing and finance for financial success.
• Report progress to executives and align with Vertiv Portfolio.
• Ensure data is loaded into Oracle, PD Cloud and configuration systems.
• Work with Advanced Manufacturing Engineers on manufacturability and capital investment.
• Support manufacturing in the USA and Mexico; extend to nondomestic locations as needed.
