Job summary

Boom Supersonic is seeking an electrical engineer to own the 13.8kV medium‑voltage system for its industrial-scale power architecture powering next‑gen AI data centers. You will lead architecture, protection, and commissioning, ensuring online protection and scalable power delivery from generator terminals to loads.

Qualifications

MV architecture, protection philosophy, and operations for 13.8kV systems.
Experience with switchgear, breakers, protective relaying, grounding, and generator integration in industrial or power-generation environments.
Ability to read and produce MV electrical drawings (one-lines, wire diagrams, panel layouts).

Responsibilities

Define MV architecture, protection philosophy, and COOP during preliminary design.
Produce protection coordination studies and relay settings.
Lead first energization, relay commissioning, synchronization, load acceptance, and step-load testing.
Manage end-to-end MV system design from generator terminals to loads and interconnects.
