Job summary

Boom Supersonic seeks an engineer to own the design of the 13.8kV medium-voltage system for its Superpower platform. You will guide architecture, energization, testing, and field commissioning, influencing outcomes at every stage.

With deep MV experience and proficiency in protection coordination, you will read and create clean MV drawings and collaborate across mechanical, controls, and instrumentation teams to deliver reliable power for critical loads.

Qualifications

• Deep hands-on experience with medium-voltage systems in industrial or power-generation environments.
• Strong understanding of rotating machinery, AVR, synchronization, and transient response.

Responsibilities

• Define MV architecture, protection philosophy, and RCS in preliminary design.
• Produce protection coordination studies and MV drawings for detailed design.
• Lead energization, relay commissioning, synchronization, and load acceptance.
