Job summary

MetroPower is seeking a Medium Voltage Electrical Foreman to oversee installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems on construction sites. The role leads and mentors crews, coordinates daily field operations, and serves as the liaison between field staff, project managers, and engineers.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' experience pulling, fire taping, terminating, and splicing MV cables up to 35kV.
• High School Diploma (or equivalent) required; Technical degree preferred.
• Valid Driver’s License and insured personal transportation required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee installation, modification, and repair of electrical systems.
• Read and interpret electrical blueprints and technical documents to ensure code compliance.
• Mentor and train apprentices and junior electricians; coordinate crew tasks and scheduling.
• Foster clear communication between field personnel, subcontractors, and office staff to align goals.
• Uphold safety as the top priority and aim for zero accidents.
