Job summary

MetroPower is seeking a Medium Voltage Electrical Foreman to oversee installation, maintenance, and repair of MV systems on construction sites in Tallahassee. You will lead crews, ensure safety, schedule work, and coordinate with project managers and engineers to meet specifications and codes.

This role requires 5+ years MV experience, current MV termination certificate preferred, and a strong safety culture. Travel to job sites is required; valid driver’s license is necessary.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' experience with MV cables up to 35kV.
• Current MV terminating certificate preferred.
• Proof of confined space training; willingness to complete MetroPower’s training within six months.
• High School Diploma required; technical degree preferred.
• 3-5 years electrical construction supervisory experience.
• Valid Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily job site activities to meet milestones, quality standards, and safety protocols.
• Guide electrical crews, assign tasks, monitor progress, and provide on‑the‑job guidance.
• Collaborate with project managers and engineers to interpret drawings and communicate requirements.
