Job summary

Fair Trade Services LLC seeks a detail-driven Label Royalties Manager to own the royalty cycle for artists, producers, and partners, ensuring accurate, on-time payments. You will manage data preparation, royalty-system setup, statement processing, reconciliations, and financial reporting, applying contracts and licenses while resolving inquiries.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Music Business, or 5+ years of directly related music-royalty experience
• Advanced Excel and MS Office, plus Curve royalty system experience
• Experience interpreting contracts, administering licenses, calculating royalties, preparing statements, and reconciling accounts
• Strong analytical judgment and attention to detail with ability to manage priorities
• Experience with NetSuite and analytics software is preferred

Responsibilities

• Own key elements of the royalty cycle: data prep, royalty-system setup, and processing statements
• Manage recoupments, reconcile artist balances, and support financial reporting
• Apply contract terms and licenses; resolve royalty inquiries and coordinate with internal teams and payees
