Job summary

SoundExchange, Inc. is seeking an Account Manager to join the Customer Services team in Washington, DC.

This hybrid role requires in-office presence on Tuesdays and Wednesdays and focuses on processing registrations, LOD submissions, and related account activities with a focus on accuracy and timely service. You will create and update client accounts, establish artist-to-LOD associations, and perform outreach via phone and email to facilitate pay-through and compliance.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks under deadlines.
• LOD familiarity is a plus.
• Customer service experience and/or knowledge of music genres is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Process new registrations and LOD submissions by creating or modifying accounts and applying associations between artist and LOD payees.
• Create and update accounts, allocate royalty items at proper percentages and dates.
• Conduct outreach regarding document completion and Default Allocation applications to clients.
• Provide excellent customer service via email and phone; meet production and quality standards.
• Assist with support and special projects as needed.
