Job summary

SoundExchange is seeking an Account Manager in Washington, DC (hybrid: in office on Tuesdays & Wednesdays) to manage registrations, LOD submissions, and client communications. You will establish associations between artist and LOD payee accounts, allocate royalties, and process related documents to maximize pay-through rates for clients.

Ideal candidates have strong organizational skills, Excel/Outlook proficiency, and experience with Salesforce or databases.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook).
• Salesforce and/or database experience is a plus.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Proven capacity to work independently, think critically, multi-task, and report progress under tight deadlines.
• LOD familiarity is a plus.
• Customer Service experience and/or knowledge of music genres is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Process new registrations by creating accounts and handling LOD submissions.
• Create/modify accounts and set associations between artist and LOD payees with correct royalty percentages and dates.
• Process Default Allocation applications.
• Reach out to clients for document completion and clarifications.
• Update accounts with supplemental documents and tasks.
• Provide excellent customer service via email and phone.
• Meet production and quality standards and assist with overflow calls.
