The role involves developing course content and media related to music business, audio recording, and production, including multimedia sound production. The curriculum covers foundational and core courses where students learn industry competencies such as recording, editing, and mixing sound for multimedia projects, aligning with current industry practices. The program emphasizes applied projects integrating technical, organizational, and creative skills, teaching industry-standard software and sound production techniques for various media including music, dialogue, Foley, ADR, sound effects, and music sequencing. Special focus is given to sound mixing for visual media, radio, and podcasts, with instruction informed by music cognition, auditory scene analysis, and digital audio theory. Students in music business courses will gain an understanding of industry trends, career options, content production, pre- and post-production processes, and related legal and financial aspects. The coursework includes lectures and exercises on music industry operations, artist rights, accounting, and professional development, aiming to prepare students for careers in the field. About RMCAD

Primary Responsibilities
Collaborate with the Music Production Department chair to plan, schedule, and execute course development within 12-week timelines. Develop detailed course content for an 8-week term, aligned with online instructional standards. Provide regular updates on course development progress to the Department Chair and instructional designers. Create organized presentations, discussion prompts, assignments, and critique formats consistent with contemporary music pedagogy and course outcomes. Qualifications
MA, MFA, or substantial professional experience in Music Business and Audio Recording & Production. Residence in AZ, CA, CO, FL, NY, MT, TX, or VA. Proficiency in industry-standard production, recording, editing, and mixing processes. Minimum of two years teaching experience; college-level and online teaching experience preferred. How to Apply
