Job summary

Poudre School District seeks a Paraprofessional Music for Fossil Ridge High School in Fort Collins, Colorado. You will provide color guard coaching and piano accompaniment for vocal and instrumental groups, supporting rehearsals and performances.

You will organize music materials, tutor students, and assist in administrative tasks to uphold the music program's goals. This one-year role offers comprehensive benefits and a 186-day calendar.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• One year of related experience preferred.
• Piano performance experience and strong piano proficiency expected.
• Two years of higher education or an associate degree acceptable.
• WorkKeys assessment may be required for instructional competency.

Responsibilities

• Provide piano accompaniment for vocal and instrumental ensembles.
• Assist in the music program's daily instruction and rehearsals.
• Tutor or provide instructional assistance to students needing help with music concepts.
• Organize and maintain music scores and materials.
• Support music staff and collaborate with choral director and students.
• Attend inservice meetings and school functions as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
