Job summary

Poudre School District seeks a Paraprofessional Music at Fort Collins High School to provide piano accompaniment for vocal groups, ensembles, and soloists. The role supports the music program, tutors students, and helps organize scores and materials.

Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma, at least one year of related experience, and strong piano proficiency. Some positions may require higher education or WorkKeys certification.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• One year of related experience preferred.
• Piano performance experience and strong piano skills required.
• Equivalent Education/Experience acceptable.
• If Title I, two years of higher education or an associate’s degree required.
• WorkKeys assessment may be used to demonstrate instructional competency.

Responsibilities

• Provide piano accompaniment for vocal groups, ensembles, and soloists.
• Support music program by aligning with director’s expectations.
• Tutor or provide instructional help in music concepts.
• Organize and maintain music scores and materials.
• Assist and collaborate with student accompanists as needed.
• Supervise piano maintenance and care in the music department.
• Attend in-service and school events as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
