Job summary

School of Rock Delco is seeking a Music Teacher/Instructor to join a collaborative team in Media, PA. You will implement our curriculum and tailor plans to meet each student where they are on their musical journey.

Ideal candidates are recent graduates or professional educators who are passionate about music, with strong communication, organization, and customer-relations skills. Availability includes 15-25 hours weekly, with some nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• Experience teaching music to diverse students.
• Knowledge of music theory and curriculum implementation.
• Strong customer-relations and communication skills.
• Organized with attention to detail and schedules.
• Working musician with formal training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Implement School of Rock curriculum and tailor plans for each student.
• Teach one or more instruments and guide progress.
• Collaborate with a team of instructors for student success.
• Maintain organized lesson plans and student records.
• Provide reliable, flexible scheduling including nights and weekends.
