School of Rock Delco is seeking a Music Teacher/Instructor to join a collaborative team, delivering our curriculum and crafting tailored plans for each student. Recent graduates and professional educators are encouraged to apply.

Ideal candidates are working musicians with formal music school training, strong customer relations skills, and a passion for teaching. Availability includes evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience with a commitment to delivering exceptional service
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Reliability, dependability, flexibility, collaboration
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Proficiency with Google business tools and tech usage
• Ability to implement curriculum teaching one or more instruments
• Willingness to work 15–25 hours per week, including nights/weekends

Responsibilities

• Implement School of Rock curriculum within a collaborative team
• Create tailored lesson plans meeting each student where they are
• Teach one or more instruments to students
• Maintain organized records and progress notes
• Engage and motivate students through a song-first approach
