Job summary

Education Through Music, Inc. (ETM) seeks a full-time Instructional Supervisor to manage a cohort of NYC music teachers across PreK-12 partner schools. The role focuses on high-quality instruction, curricular programming, and professional conduct to meet ETM standards.

Responsibilities include on-site visits, PD plan design, actionable feedback, and collaboration with school leadership to coordinate performances and events. Strong communication and leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in music education is required.
• Experience teaching in primary/secondary classrooms.
• Strong knowledge of music pedagogy and child development.

Responsibilities

• Visit partner schools to observe classrooms and instruction.
• Design professional development plans for teachers.
• Provide feedback and document teacher progress.
• Support scheduling of student performances and events.
• Ensure ETM rooms are equipped and prepared for lessons.
