Job summary

The College of Saint Benedict and Saint John’s University seek a full-time Department Coordinator for the Music Department (CSB+SJU). The role supports the Chair and staff, managing offices, events, budgets, and student employees across CSB and SJU campuses.

Responsibilities include scheduling, communications, website updates, and coordinating auditions, scholarships, and conferences. This position requires in-person presence Monday–Friday on both campuses.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; post-secondary education preferred.
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication; ability to maintain confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Office management, communication and event support, budgeting and supervision of student employees.
• Coordinate departmental performances, admissions and rotating events across two campuses.
• Assist faculty with logistics of programs and conferences and maintain department space.
