University of North Carolina at Greensboro is seeking a School of Music Building Manager & Instrument Inventory Specialist to oversee facilities and instrument inventory for 1,600+ instruments across 110,000 square feet. You will hire, train, and supervise student staff, manage room scheduling, and coordinate with faculty, staff, and partners.

Responsibilities include maintaining instrument records, budgeting for instrument maintenance, and ensuring assets are properly tracked and secured.

Qualifications

• A college degree or equivalent and two years of related experience.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsabilités

• Coordinate music building schedule and room reservation system.
• Schedule events for School of Music and affiliated community partners.
• Oversee equipment inventory (lockers, music stands, chairs).
• Manage key inventory and swipe requests. Develop and implement a system to ensure keys are issued and returned promptly.
• Establish and maintain effective working relationships with campus facilities, insurance/fixed assets, and housekeeping personnel.
• Other duties as assigned by School of Music Director.
