Job summary

Fallingwater is seeking a full-time Museum Store Inventory Coordinator and E-Commerce Assistant to manage incoming shipments, stock merchandise, and fulfill online orders. The role integrates store operations with Fallingwater’s e-commerce platform, ensuring accurate inventory and timely customer service.

Located on site, the position requires strong organization, POS experience, and reliable driving ability to support local deliveries and site operations, with flexible hours including some

Qualifications

• Must have experience with receiving and proper handling of shipments.
• Related stockroom experience in a retail setting is preferred.
• Experience with computers and Point of Sale systems are required.
• Experience with Shopify platform is helpful.
• Must have exceptional organization skills and be accurate with details.
• Must possess professional customer service skills and communication skills, including verbal, written, and listening.
• Must be a team player, and have the ability to work well with others.
• A valid driver’s license is required.
• To be able to complete all physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation

Responsibilities

• Accepts shipments and coordinates deliveries to departments throughout the site.
• Verifies incoming inventory against documents.
• Reports damages and shortages to management with photos.
• Assists in tagging and stocking merchandise and maintains storage areas.
• Uses company van to transport deliveries and travels to retrieve locally sourced product.
• Complies with security and safety procedures.
• Processes in-house shipping requests with proper packaging and payments.
• Fulfills and processes online orders and returns via Lightspeed POS.
• Maintains ecommerce records and reconciles inventory and payments.
• Provides ecommerce customer service and handles shipping requests.
