Job summary

The Saint Louis Art Museum Shop is seeking a seasonal Sales Assistant to welcome and assist shoppers, help them find items, and ring up purchases with a friendly, energetic approach.

You will unpack and stock merchandise, maintain attractive displays, and contribute to a positive team environment while working flexible hours, including Fridays, weekends, and peak holiday periods.

We pride ourselves on creating a welcoming, upbeat shopping environment, and we need a dedicated seasonal team member to help us deliver an exceptional experience to our holiday shoppers and museum patrons.

What You'll Do:

• Welcome and assist customers with energy, helping them find the perfect items and answering product questions.
• Ring up purchases quickly and accurately using our point-of-sale system, ensuring a smooth checkout process.
• Unpack, ticket, and stock new merchandise to keep our sales floor looking full, neat, and organized.
• Maintain store appearance by tidying displays and keeping shopping areas clear.
• Contribute to a positive team environment, stepping in wherever needed to support your fellow associates.

We are looking for:

• A natural connector who loves talking to people and delivering great customer service.
• Flexible and adaptable, ready to thrive in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.
• Available to work flexible hours, including Friday evenings, weekends, and peak holiday shopping days.

• Previous retail or customer service experience is a plus.
