City Museum in St. Louis is looking for Admissions and Gift Shop Attendants to join our Retail team. Earn $15.30 per hour with flexible schedules and opportunities for free season passes and friends/family tickets.

Responsibilities include greeting guests, selling admissions and merchandise, processing payments, keeping displays neat, and delivering excellent guest service in a fun park environment.

Qualificações

• Must be at least 16 years of age
• Ability to operate a computer and computer software programs
• Approachable, outgoing and excited about selling
• Ability to accept guidance and supervision
• Ability to communicate effectively with public, customers and staff members
• Be aware, attentive, and work well with others
• Energy and enthusiasm for long days
• Must be able to work days, evenings, weekends and holidays to meet business needs

• Sell daily admission, season passes, and all products in an efficient and friendly manner
• Sell various merchandise
• Receive payment by credit cards, vouchers, gift cards or automatic debits
• Offer additional products to enhance park experience
• Maintain fast, friendly, and accurate payment handling
• merchandise and maintain sales displays
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment for customers and staff
• Provide superior guest service to all customers
• Assist customers with questions about City Museum facilities and amenities
• Follow park policies and procedures
• Other duties as assigned

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Greeting customers with a smile and assisting with their shopping experience
• Sell daily admission, season passes, and all other products in an efficient and friendly manner
• Sell various merchandise
• Receive payment by credit cards, vouchers, gift cards or automatic debits
• Offer additional products to offer the best park experience
• Have excellent payment handling skills to make transactions fast, friendly, and fun
• Merchandise and maintain sales displays
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment for customers and other employees
• Provide superior guest service to all customers in a polite and expedient manner
• Assist customers with all questions regarding City Museum including facility layout and amenities
• Follow all park policies and procedures
• Other duties as assigned

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to stand or walk for extended periods of time
• Must be able to lift, carry, move, and/or position items weighing up to or in excess of 25 pounds.
• Ability to climb stairs
• Applicants under 16 years of age must be able to provide appropriate Work Permit(s) to be considered for employment
