The San Francisco Museum of Modern Art (SFMOMA) seeks an experienced Security Operations Manager to oversee the Museum's 24/7 security operations, RSOC, and safety programs across its facilities. You will lead technical projects, coordinate with IT and Facilities, train staff, develop SOPs, and manage incident response while upholding the Museum's commitment to inclusivity and safety.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Security Management, Facilities Management, Information Systems, or related field.
• Minimum of five (5) years of experience operating or managing a 24/7 security environment with a multi-campus security program.
• Emergency manage and response experience.
• Experience deploying complicated security solutions in Access Control, Video Management, Biometrics, Intrusion Detection, Fire Life & Safety and Visitor Management Systems.
• Experience working in a Security Operations Center, Security Support Center, or similar.
• Working knowledge of IP networking and endpoint device operations as they relate to physical security systems (access control, video management, and visitor management).
• Broad knowledge of Security Operations Center Technology and Access Control Systems.
• Team player with proven ability to work collaboratively within dynamic organizations as well as build relationships with external constituencies.
• Technical proficiency with standard suite of workplace applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and platforms related to space and scheduling.
• Capacity to quickly master new tools and platforms as technologies evolve.
• Excellent communication with diplomacy and tact.
• Exceptional organizational and task management ability is essential.
• Strong work ethic and ability to work independently.
• Commitment to quality of service in a diverse community.

Responsibilities

• Provide oversight of day-to-day technical operations of the Museum’s physical security and safety operations including RSOC, staff and guest services desk.
• Partner with Onsite Security Supervisor on technical troubleshooting, system configuration, and real-time incident response including monitoring, analysis, detection, and escalation.
• Train physical security teams to perform technical functions within the RSOC.
• Develop and deliver end-user training for Security system protocols and building safety and security devices.
• Develop and maintain SOPs related to SOC operations and emergency response procedures.
• Produce quarterly risk and vulnerability assessments and report on security program performance.
• Serve as liaison for physical security systems with IT and stakeholders; align initiatives with business/tech strategy.
• Support Director of Security with program analysis, development and implementation plans.
