Job summary

Honolulu Museum of Art is seeking a Security Supervisor to under the direction of the Security Manager supervise, monitor, and coordinate security activities across the museum complex. The role focuses on ensuring safety for buildings, assets, staff, and visitors within a dynamic environment.

Ideal candidates have 3 years in security with supervisory exposure, a high school diploma, a valid driver’s license, and ability to obtain an active guard card.

Qualifications

• 3 years of security experience with at least 1 year in a supervisory capacity.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license and active guard card or ability to obtain one.
• Must have flexibility to work additional day, night, and weekend hours as required.
• Ability to prepare detailed and accurate incident reports.
• Able to interact with Police, Fire, and EMS personnel.
• Basic knowledge of PC-based computers and software such as MS Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, monitor, and coordinate security activities for buildings, assets, premises, employees, and visitors.
• Ensure safety and security of all attendees and property.
• Prepare detailed incident reports and maintain accurate records.
• Collaborate with police, fire, and EMS as needed.
