Job summary

A prominent cultural institution in Fort Worth seeks an experienced Control Room Supervisor to ensure security for the building, its collections, and the safety of staff and visitors. The ideal candidate will have a background in museum security and demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills. Responsibilities include supervising security staff, responding to emergencies, and patrolling museum spaces. A high school diploma and a TX Level 1 & 2 guard license are required. Qualifications

• Must pass stringent background check.
• Must have or be able to obtain a current TX Level 1 & 2 guard license.
• One year of previous experience required; museum security preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Security staff to ensure performance.
• Respond immediately to all emergencies.
• Patrol all museum spaces.

Skills

Knowledge of emergency response plans

Problem solving skills

Ability to communicate in English

Verbal and written communication skills

Fluency in Spanish (desirable)

Education

High School Diploma or GED
