Job summary

The Toledo Museum of Art is seeking a Control Room Operator to ensure the safety and security of the Museum's facilities and visitors. This role requires monitoring various systems, conducting patrols, and dispatching personnel as necessary.

Ideal candidates should have a high school diploma and at least one year of experience in security or a similar field. The position offers a casual employment status with an hourly compensation rate between $15.91 and $18.44.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in security, safety or closely related field.
• Must obtain Heartsaver Certification (CPR and AED) within six months of hire.
• Ability to quickly move and stay alert during shifts.

Responsibilities

• Monitoring visual observations of all campus spaces.
• Responding to life safety alarms and maintaining logs.
• Performing walking patrols between 3-5 miles per shift.
