Job summary

Sidney and Lois Eskenazi Museum of Art at Indiana University seeks a Guest Service Associate to lead by example in delivering outstanding visitor experiences. You will work across galleries, desks, and exterior spaces, ensuring guests understand and follow museum guidelines while remaining attentive to safety and accessibility.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent and prior experience in customer service with strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (HSED or GED).
• Some prior experience in a related field.
• Outstanding customer service experience.
• Excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Works primarily in customer-facing roles, including posts in galleries, guest services desks and exterior spaces per operational requirements of the department.
• Engages with every guest they encounter to ensure a positive and welcoming experience.
• May work at an EMA Security monitoring station under direction from Security Panel Operators.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
