Job summary

McNay Art Museum in San Antonio, TX seeks a Visitor Experience & Rentals Associate to join a full-time rotating-shift team. The role balances front-desk admissions, membership promotions, and on-site event rental support, reporting to the Visitor Experience & Rentals Supervisor and the Development Officer.

The ideal candidate delivers outstanding customer service, handles cash accurately, coordinates with clients, vendors, and museum staff, and helps ensure smooth load-in/load-out of events.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years in customer service.
• 12 months of event planning and execution.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary face of the museum, delivering excellent customer service.
• Assist with admissions, memberships, and rentals.
• Coordinate client, vendors, and staff during rentals.
• Manage cash registers and daily reconciliations.
• Support event load-in/load-out and safety procedures.
• Attend briefings and communicate with security and facilities.
