Job summary

Philbrook Museum of Art in Tulsa, OK seeks a Building Engineer to ensure safe, efficient operation of air handling and support systems within a historic and dynamic setting.

You will perform preventative maintenance on boilers, chillers, pumps, and electrical/plumbing equipment; hold a First Class Stationary Engineer license and a high school diploma; expected to work full-time with day hours and occasional evenings.

Qualifications

• First Class Stationary Engineers License required.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3 to 5 years of experience with mechanical equipment including boilers, chillers, pumps and air handlers.
• Advanced knowledge of HVAC, water and plumbing systems.

Responsibilities

• Operate mechanical and electrical systems including boilers, chillers, pumps, controls and valves.
• Log operating parameters; note safety discrepancies and perform minor repairs.
• Perform preventative maintenance on equipment and assist with shutdowns and startups.
• Identify safety hazards and protect personnel and visitors.
• Maintain electrical and plumbing equipment; uphold safety and maintenance standards.
• Demonstrate reliable attendance and collaborate with colleagues.
