Job summary

Liberty University seeks a part-time Jerry Falwell Library Museum Assistant to support the museum curator with customer service, exhibit organization, and data entry. You will staff the reception desk, assist visitors, and help maintain the JFM collections both on display and in storage.

The role requires a current Liberty University student, with willingness to lift up to 40 pounds and work flexible hours including mornings and events.

Qualifications

• Must be a current Liberty University student in good academic standing.
• Federal Work Study preferred.
• Able to lift 40 pounds and push carts up to 250 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Staffs reception desk and provides outstanding customer service to visitors.
• Assists Curator with organizing, arranging, and maintaining JFM collections on exhibit and in storage.
• Enters data into databases, including MS Excel, and scans documents into digital formats.
• Supports museum staff with preserving materials and assisting visitors during tours.
