The Ohio State University Physicians, Inc. is seeking Athletic Trainers to join the Buckeye Community and directly impact patient care, recovery, and performance.

Under general supervision of a physician or assistant, you will help prevent and treat athletic injuries, perform exams, educate patients, and coordinate referrals. There is an opportunity to assist with surgery and become a certified Orthopedic Technologist.

Formación

• Licensure by the Ohio board is required.
• Board certification for Athletic Trainers is required.
• Current BLS certification is required.
• Bachelor's or master's degree in athletic training.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee and implement prevention, assessment, management, and rehabilitation of athletic injuries.
• Review and obtain diagnostic studies under physician direction.
• Take thorough patient history and perform physical examinations.
• Provide rehabilitation education and therapy programs.
• Educate patients and families continuously.
• Assist physicians with in-office procedures.
• Generate orders for imaging, referrals, and therapy.
• Remove dressings, sutures, and apply wound care as needed.
• Fit and educate durable medical equipment and assistive devices.
• Triage patient messages and coordinate appointments.

Educación

Bachelor's or Masters Degree from an Athletic Training Education Program

Licensure by the State of Ohio Occupational, Physical Therapy, and Athletic Training Board

Certification by the Board of Certification for Athletic Trainers

Current BLS Certification
