Hanwha Defense USA is seeking a Contracts Manager for Munitions in Arlington, VA. The role leads the contractual architecture across munitions programs from capture to closeout, negotiating with Army contracting entities and coordinating complex production and supply contracts.

The position requires a U.S. citizen with ability to obtain a Secret clearance, extensive government contracts experience in munitions, and strong leadership skills to manage a contracts team and regulatory obligations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Ten+ years of Government contracts experience, including at least five years in munitions/energetics.
  • Three+ years of supervisory experience.
  • Strong knowledge of FAR, DFARS, AFARS and related contract principles.

Responsibilities

  • Lead full contract lifecycle for production, development, engineering and service contracts.
  • Draft, negotiate and manage prime contracts, subcontracts and exclusivity arrangements with U.S. and international companies.
  • Negotiate and administer Other Transaction Agreements under 10 U.S.C. 4022.
  • Structure and negotiate production contracts, IDIQs, multiyear procurements and undefinitized actions.
  • Formulate negotiation strategy and lead engagements with Government contracting officers.
  • Ensure compliance with DoD safety and export control requirements and related regulatory regimes.
  • Coordinate with export controls on ITAR/EAR licensing and data controls.
  • Oversee domestic sourcing and compliance with Buy American requirements.
  • Develop staff and establish performance standards for the munitions contracts team.

Education

Bachelor's degree in business, law, public administration, or a related discipline
