Job summary

Bristol Township, PA is seeking a Tax & Revenue Collection Supervisor in the Finance Department. Under the Finance Officer, you will oversee revenue collection operations, supervise staff, ensure accurate billing, posting, and reporting of taxes, sewer charges, and other revenues, and maintain records.

The role requires knowledge of municipal tax collection laws, strong supervision and customer service skills, and the ability to coordinate with county offices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, public administration, or related field required.
• Five years of progressively responsible experience in municipal finance or tax collection preferred.
• Knowledge of Pennsylvania municipal tax collection laws and reporting requirements.
• PA Qualified Tax Collector certification is preferred or required by policy.

Responsibilities

• Oversee billing, collection, posting, reconciliation, and reporting of township real estate taxes and fees.
• Supervise revenue collection staff, ensure accuracy of receipts and deposits.
• Maintain tax records, certifications, liens, and delinquency information.
• Prepare tax certifications and respond to title, mortgage, and settlement requests.
• Coordinate with County Assessment Office, Tax Claim Bureau, and other agencies.
• Provide excellent customer service and resolve complex billing issues.
