Qualifications

• Five years’ experience in municipal law, civil litigation, or business law.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Provide legal advice to City staff, management, officials, and City boards.
• Prepare ordinances, resolutions, contracts, leases and other legal documents.
• Represent the city in lawsuits, administrative hearings, and appellate proceedings.
• Review policies to minimize legal exposure and liability.
• Perform a variety of assignments requiring advanced legal knowledge.
• Other related duties may be assigned as needed.
