Job summary

The City of Fairburn is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Human Resources Generalist to join our team. This role focuses on payroll processing, workers’ compensation, benefits administration, and compliance with employment laws.

You will partner with management and employees, support onboarding, recruitment, background checks, and HRIS data integrity, and ensure timely, accurate HR operations while maintaining confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor's degree and 3 years in HR
• Experience with payroll, workers’ compensation, benefits
• Knowledge of employment laws and regulations
• Local government experience is a plus
