Job summary

The City of Cedar Hill is seeking a skilled GIS Analyst to support data creation, management, and analysis across municipal operations. You will capture and edit spatial and attribute data, and create maps using ArcGIS Pro and ArcGIS Online, while assisting with Enterprise GIS setup.

A bachelor’s degree in GIS or a related field is required, with advanced knowledge of ESRI products and experience with ArcGIS Pro/Online/Enterprise, SDE/SQL geodatabases, and programming languages such as Python

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Geographic Information Systems or a related field.
Advanced knowledge of GIS concepts, data modeling, and geoprocessing.
Experience with ESRI ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online, ArcGIS Enterprise/Server, and SDE/SQL databases.
Proficiency in Python, HTML5, SQL, and FME.
Experience with GIS data capture, editing, and map production.
Familiarity with graphic design tools like Photoshop/Illustrator is a plus.

Responsibilities

Create, manage, and maintain GIS data and databases.
Manage GIS platforms and routine geospatial processing tasks.
Capture and edit spatial and attribute data; ensure data quality.
Create maps using ArcGIS Pro and ArcGIS Online; assist with Enterprise GIS setup.
Work on 911 address data management, planning, engineering, and utility GIS data.
