Job summary

The City of Blue Springs is seeking a GIS Analyst to support, maintain, and expand its Geographic Information System. You will work under the GIS Coordinator, delivering advanced GIS support across Administration, Development, Public Works, Planning, Engineering, and Utilities.

Ideal candidate has 3–5 years of GIS experience, a Bachelor's degree in a related field, and strong experience with ESRI products such as ArcGIS Pro, Online, and Dashboards to drive data-driven decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in GIS or related field required.
• Minimum three to five years of professional GIS experience required.
• Experience with ESRI products including ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online, ArcGIS Enterprise, Field Maps, Survey123, Experience Builder, ArcGIS Dashboards, Mobile and web GIS applications.
• Municipal or utility GIS experience preferred.
• Ability to lead GIS initiatives and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support, maintain, and expand the City's GIS operations across departments.
• Develop, manage, analyze, and maintain geospatial data and GIS applications.
• Work under the GIS Coordinator and provide advanced GIS support.
• Lead GIS initiatives and manage multiple projects concurrently.
• Provide data-driven decision support through maps, dashboards, and reports.
