Job summary

The City of Scottsdale is seeking a Fleet Mechanic to diagnose, maintain, and repair municipal vehicles and equipment, including gasoline/diesel engines, light/heavy trucks, emergency vehicles, and transit buses. You will work both independently and in teams with a strong safety and customer-service focus.

Anticipated starting salary may be up to mid-point; full range is published and mid-point is $32.26 per hour or $67,100.80 annually.

Qualifications

• Five years of experience in automotive, heavy-duty truck, equipment or transit bus maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair a range of municipal vehicles and equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance to ensure safe, reliable operation.
• Collaborate with team while adhering to safety and customer service standards.
