Zusammenfassung

The City of Signal Hill is seeking a Management Analyst to support special projects within the Finance Department, performing comprehensive budget analysis, and assisting with risk management. Additional responsibilities include preparing and analyzing financial reports, tracking and managing contracts, ensuring compliance with accounting procedures, and maintaining accurate fiscal records.

Other duties may also include payroll processing and accounts receivable/payable.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university in business, public administration or related field.
• Two years of professional analytical experience involving administrative, management, operations, and budgetary practices; municipal government experience preferred.
• Highly desirable: municipal experience and budgeting or accounting experience.

Aufgaben

• Develop conclusions and make recommendations.
• Prepare detailed and comprehensive written reports; grant applications, Council staff reports, contracts, memorandums and correspondence as required.
• Interpret complex written information including contracts, grant applications, franchise agreements, and the Municipal Code.
• Assist in the preparation of the annual budget and expenditure control
• Assist with the administration of general liability claims by coordinating claims management with a third-party administrator (TPA).
