SEI Corporation in Oaks, PA seeks an Analyst, Tax Overlay & Portfolio Implementation to manage daily rebalance and trade generation for client accounts, implement new account openings, cash requests, and asset allocation changes.

The ideal candidate has a 4-year degree in business or finance, at least 2 years in financial services, strong Excel skills (macros a plus), and the ability to work with minimal supervision in a hybrid office environment three days per week.

  • Minimum of 2 years of financial services experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong working knowledge of Excel, including macros.

Responsibilities

  • Identify accounts for daily rebalancing and trade generation.

  • Monitor accounts to ensure alignment with investment mandates and tracking error expectations.

## Analyst, Tax Overlay & Portfolio ImplementationApplylocations: USA - PA - Oakstime type: Full timeposted on: Posted 16 Days Agojob requisition id: R0037090The Managed Account Solutions (MAS) team is seeking an Analyst, Tax Overlay & Portfolio Implementation. The MAS team within the Investment Management Unit is responsible for the development, support, and distribution of investment products and services used to support SEI’s multi-manager managed account program. MAS is distributed through the Independent Advisor Solutions, and Institutional market units.**What you will do:**As an Analyst, Tax Overlay & Portfolio Implementation you will be responsible for the daily management, rebalancing and trade generation of client accounts. Activities include:* On a daily basis identify client accounts for rebalancing and trade generation from manager model changes, drift, tracking error* Implement new account opening/closing, invest/raise cash requests and asset allocation changes* Facilitate tax management of accounts including harvesting gains/losses; policing wash sales, limiting de minimis trades and monitoring gains budgets* Monitor client accounts to ensure they are continually aligned with their investment mandate and tracking error expectations* Ensure trade recommendations are consistent across accounts based on established guidelines, security restrictions and social screens.* Generate and export trades across accounts for execution* Perform tax transition analyses and report generation for client proposals* Participate in overlay management oversight meetings* Work with the middle office teams to implement client specific instructions for accounts* Act as a liaison between the Managed Account Solutions team and other departments within the Firm (client support, back office operations, sales etc.)* Contributing to cross-functional projects focused on improving efficiency, scalability, and client experience* Working on special projects as assigned by the team Manager, including research, process redesign, and technology-driven initiatives **What we need from you:**The ideal candidate will possess an understanding of the investment advisory business including a base understanding of investment product types (e.g., managed accounts, ETFs, mutual funds) and investment advisor operations (i.e. portfolio accounting, portfolio rebalancing, corporate action processing, and trade settlements).* Four year undergraduate degree ideally in business/finance or related subject* Minimum of 2 years of financial services experience* Good communication and strong attention to detail* Excellent interpersonal skills / team player* Exceptional verbal and written communication skills* Strong working knowledge of Excel, with experience using multiple Excel functions and macros* Must be able to work with minimal supervision* Must be in Oaks office three days per week **What we would like from you:*** Ability and desire to work in a fast-paced, market-oriented environment, capable of working under pressing deadlines* Detail orientated, able to spot potential issues, and ask questions to avoid errors* A problem solver, able to logically work through problems and propose solutions as well as challenge and enhance current processes* Interest in developing a career in the asset management business and pursuit of a MBA or CFA preferred* Someone who will embody our SEI Values of courage, integrity, collaboration, inclusion, connection and fun.
