Job summary

State of Missouri, OA-FMDC, is seeking an experienced Specialized Trades Worker to support the Operations Team across building, equipment, maintenance, and various trades projects. The role emphasizes safety, diverse trade work, and responsive coverage for state facilities.

Responsibilities include coordinating with internal and external stakeholders, performing skilled tasks in electrical, HVAC, carpentry, plumbing, and related trades, and ensuring work aligns with project objectives.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of on-the-job training in a trade area.
• Experience operating and maintaining various equipment and tools.
• Possess and maintain a valid driver license from Missouri or from an adjacent state.
• OSHA 10 and/or 30 preferred, but FMDC can provide if needed.
• Excellent time management, organizational, planning, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize excellent customer service for diverse internal and external stakeholders.
• Complete skilled work within one or more specialized trade areas.
• Apply trade-specific knowledge to troubleshooting, repair and remediation tasks.
• Perform work relating to electrical, HVAC, electronics, carpentry, concrete/masonry, welding, plumbing, and/or painting.
• Heavy lifting, manual labor, and operating machinery and heavy equipment per project needs.
• Provide coverage at state facilities after hours and/or for emergency purposes.
• Follow all OA-FMDC health and safety protocols and OSHA standards.
• Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
