Job summary

Mission Rock Residential in Tampa, FL is seeking a Service Technician to deliver outstanding resident service while performing on-site maintenance. You will handle work orders, conduct routine checks, and apply hands-on expertise to keep our communities safe and welcoming.

The role requires at least 1 year of property maintenance experience, strong communication, and reliable transportation. Compensation includes base pay with incentive potential and a housing discount benefit.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of previous experience in property management maintenance, other building maintenance or related trade is required.
• CPO Certification (desired/required depending on property).
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Organizational and time-management abilities.
• A collaborative, solutions-focused, “can-do” attitude.
• Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose problems and perform repairs in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, swimming pools, carpentry, drywall repair, exterior structures, and appliances.
• Ensures assigned work order requests are responded to promptly and professionally.
• Inspect buildings to ensure safety and cleanliness, alerting the Service Manager and Property Manager immediately to items that need to be addressed.
