Job summary

B5 Recruiting is partnering with a large property management organization to hire several Maintenance Technicians. You’ll perform hands-on maintenance to keep apartments safe, attractive, and well‑maintained, and you’ll support the on-site team across trades.

Responsibilities include preparing units for new residents, completing work orders, performing preventive maintenance, and assisting in grounds upkeep.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• 1–3 months of related maintenance experience encouraged.
• A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
• Your own set of tools is required.
• HVAC, CFC, or CPO certifications preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare apartments for new residents (turns & move-outs).
• Complete work orders efficiently and professionally.
• Keep exterior areas clean and well-presented (curb appeal).
• Conduct routine and preventive maintenance.
• Daily trash pickup and grounds upkeep.
• Maintain trash compactors and swimming pools (seasonal).
• Troubleshoot and repair: plumbing, basic electrical, appliances.
• Carpentry, drywall, roofing and flooring.
• Check irrigation systems.
• Maintain records of work and materials used.
• Participate in on-call maintenance rotation.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
