Job summary

Huntington Village Homes is seeking Maintenance Technicians at multiple career levels to support the maintenance and readiness of our housing communities. You'll work outdoors and in attics or crawl spaces, performing repairs across HVAC, plumbing, carpentry, and electrical systems, with ongoing preventive maintenance and make-ready duties.

The role includes emergency maintenance, documentation, and potential mentoring of junior technicians.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required.
Able to work outside in all weather conditions.
Team player with attention to detail and punctuality.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Basic computer knowledge; daily platform usage.
Reliable attendance and punctuality.
Basic understanding of safety practices.
Driver's License valid and in-state.

Responsibilities

Responds to service requests including furnaces, air-conditioning systems, appliances, water heaters, plumbing, carpentry, painting, and other maintenance items.
Performs skilled work in one or more trades (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, locksmith).
Documents all work per company policy and provides excellent customer service.
Maintains tools and equipment in ready repair.
Adheres to PPE and safety guidelines; follows preventive maintenance schedule.
Assist in make-ready of vacated units including painting, flooring, drywall repair.
Performs emergency maintenance such as leaks, backups, and weather-related damage.
Mentors Level 3 technicians and supports troubleshooting as needed.
