Job summary

Hyatt Hotels Corporation is seeking a General Maintenance Engineer to perform general maintenance and repairs across guest rooms, meeting spaces, and public areas. Responsibilities include preventative maintenance, coordinating with dispatch, and supporting electrical, plumbing, and painting tasks to ensure smooth operations.

The role requires 3–5 years of building trades experience, ability to lift heavy loads, and strong communication skills. This is an on-site position at Hyatt properties.

Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years experience in all phases of the Building Trades, re: all of the above mentioned categories.
• Lifting, carrying, pushing and pulling in excess of 50 lbs, walking for long period of time
• 3 to 5 years of experience in Commercial Building Maintenance, Carpentry, Electrical and Plumbing skills.

Responsibilities

• Repairing and maintaining all equipment and facilities by applying building trade skills.
• Requisitions all replacement parts for repairs.
• Picks up work orders from dispatcher, completes jobs and records actions taken.
• Answers phones, pagers and two-way radios.
