Job summary

Hyatt Regency Salt Lake City is seeking a proactive Hotel Engineer to maintain and support the property’s large electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems. You will work with a hospitality-focused team to ensure safe, reliable operations across rooms and public areas.

The role requires prior hotel engineering experience, strong troubleshooting, and a self-starting attitude, with an open schedule including overnights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Previous hotel engineering experience is required.
• Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills.
• Good customer skills are required.
• Must be comfortable working with minimal supervision.
• Must have a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Must be a self-starter.
• An open and flexible schedule that requires overnight, weekend and holiday shifts.

Responsibilities

• This position may also assist with shift coverage in other areas of the Engineering function.
• This position follows a 5-day work week.
