Qualifications

• Minimum of one-year of building maintenance experience; hotel experience preferred.
• Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, kitchen, and laundry equipment.
• Good customer service skills are required.
• Ability to lift, pull, and push up to moderate weight.
• Able to stand and walk for long periods.
• Flexible schedule including AM/PM shifts, holidays and weekends.

Responsibilities

The General Maintenance Engineer will be responsible primarily for general maintenance and repairs in guest suites, meeting spaces, and front-of-the-house areas. Guest suite and public area entry-level preventative maintenance are included. The Engineer will also perform some repairs on mechanical, electrical, kitchen, and laundry equipment, requiring some skills and experience in these areas. This position is part time primarily nights and weekends. Shift times are flexible and might hour vary each week. Must be available to work at least one weekend day a week and 2-3 weekday shifts.
