Job summary

Sares Regis Group in Oakland, CA is seeking a Maintenance Technician II to join a 400-unit community. The role covers turnover, renovations, and routine maintenance across electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and carpentry tasks.

Schedule is Tuesday through Saturday, 8 AM to 5 PM. Salary ranges from $28.00 to $32.00 per hour, with benefits including 401(k) match, rental incentives, bonuses, and other voluntary benefits.

Qualifications

• Must have 2+ year experience in all trades (electrical, plumbing, drywall, paint, appliances, etc.)
• Knowledge and skill in performing quality work; able to use required tools and machinery; professional interaction with others; OSHA knowledge; MSDS awareness.
• Ability to read and interpret service orders and safety/maintenance documents; communicate clearly.
• Excellent customer service skills a must!
• Ability to work weekends required.

Responsibilities

• Works in turnover and renovation units, and responds to maintenance service requests.
• Repairs across drywall, painting, plumbing, appliances, boilers/HVAC and common areas.
• Operates lathe, grinder, drill, milling machine to repair/ fabricate parts and tools.
• Fabricates and repairs cabinets, counters, benches, partitions, and wooden structures.
• Maintains inventory and related paperwork; keeps facilities orderly.
