Job summary

Bass Pro Shops is seeking a General Maintenance professional to support store operations with preventive maintenance and oversight of service contractors. The role covers electrical, plumbing, carpentry, HVAC, and general repairs, with a focus on broad building trades and energy conservation.

Qualifications

• Must have high mechanical ability and be willing to oversee the work of others.
• Verifiable experience in maintenance related fields.
• Experience in various building trades listed in the job brief.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical repair: lamp changes, fixture repair/installation, diagnostics.
• Perform plumbing repair: pump/fixture installs, drain cleaning, diagnostics.
• Understand HVAC operation and maintenance procedures.
• Perform basic mechanical repair on tractors, forklifts, order pickers, pallet jacks.
• Repair building components: painting, carpentry, flooring.
• Conduct periodic tune-ups to support energy conservation and waste programs.
• Maintain equipment needed to perform work.
• Complete preventive and reparative maintenance across trades.
• Maintain emphasis on broad maintenance tasks rather than one trade skill.
• All other duties as assigned.
