Job summary

Stratolaunch seeks a skilled Facilities Technician in Mojave, CA to perform preventative and corrective maintenance across electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and mechanical systems. You’ll troubleshoot, repair, and inspect facilities, coordinate with vendors, and maintain documentation while prioritizing safety and reliability.

The role requires 5+ years in multi-trade facilities work, strong problem-solving, and the ability to work with minimal supervision.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of facilities maintenance, building engineering, or multi-trade technician experience.
• Hands-on experience in electrical troubleshooting and repair.
• HVAC maintenance and diagnostics.
• Plumbing repair and installation.
• Mechanical systems maintenance.
• General building repair and preventative maintenance.
• Ability to read work orders, manuals, drawings, and plans.
• Strong safety and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on facility systems and infrastructure.
• Diagnose and repair electrical systems, lighting, panels, and controls.
• Maintain HVAC equipment including air handlers, rooftops, thermostats, and belts.
• Repair and maintain plumbing systems and fixtures.
• Conduct safety inspections and identify repair needs.
• Perform general building repairs and minor renovations.
• Respond to maintenance requests and alarms; provide after-hours support as needed.
• Coordinate with contractors and verify work quality and completion.
• Maintain records of inspections, repairs, and materials used.
