Job summary

J&J Worldwide Services is seeking an Utilities Worker to perform a wide range of facility maintenance, repair, and light construction tasks across assigned sites. The role requires practical skills in plumbing, electrical, painting, and general maintenance, with potential custodial duties as needed.

The position offers a M-F 1:00 pm – 9:30 pm shift and pays $22.00–$26.00 per hour. Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent and be able to lift 50 lbs, climb ladders, and work in a

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
Equivalent combination of education and relevant experience may be considered.
Preferred: job-related experience in facilities maintenance.

Responsibilities

Perform general building repairs such as painting, basic carpentry, light plumbing/bathroom repairs, door and hardware repair.
Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance and repairs as needed.
Inspect facilities, equipment, and surfaces to identify maintenance, repair, or replacement needs.
Maintain cleanliness and appearance of assigned spaces; vacuum and mop floors.
Restock paper goods and soap; manage utilities in closets.
Escort cash deposits and maintain logs/reports.
Set up conference rooms and assist with food/beverage for meetings.
Respond to facility emergencies and notify staff after hours.
