Job summary

CGL Facility Management, LLC is seeking a General Trades Technician to provide general maintenance across facilities, including electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and carpentry tasks. You will troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventative maintenance to ensure building reliability and safety.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED, 1–3 years of related experience, and a willingness to work in varied environments. A $1,000 sign-on bonus is offered, with on-call duties and CMMS duties included.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1–3 years of building repairs and maintenance experience preferred.
• General knowledge of electrical, HVAC, plumbing, carpentry, and building maintenance.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Willingness to work occasional on-call shifts.
• Strong teamwork, reliability, and communication skills.
• Must be computer proficient and able to multitask.

Responsibilities

• Performs general maintenance and repair work on facilities and equipment.
• Responds to service requests covering electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and related systems.
• Conducts routine preventative maintenance to keep systems operating smoothly.
• Assembles, installs and repairs wiring and plumbing components; reads blueprints and manuals.
• Maintains safe work practices and uses PPE per OSHA and company standards.
• Operates plant equipment and building automation systems; maintains tools and inventory.
• On-call as needed and trains other technicians as appropriate.
• Enters work orders into the CMMS system and documents activities.
